A proposed 40-minute decision workshop for students who already have some aviation interest. It is a pilot concept, not a claim of previous delivery or institutional partnership.

A practical session, not a recruitment talk
Intended for roughly ages 14–18 in a classroom, cadet unit, or youth program with an adult organizer present. Students learn that aviation includes flying, ATC, maintenance, dispatch, airports and aerospace; then work through one real decision.
The student founder would facilitate the guide and research exercise, not present themself as a pilot, medical examiner, flight instructor or employment authority. Where possible, a working aviation professional should review the content or join for a short Q&A.
Session structure

Common misconceptions include “a CPL guarantees an airline job,” “minimum hours equal total price,” “any aviation scholarship fits any student,” and “every aviation career requires pilot training.”
What an organizer would confirm
- Age group, schedule, accessibility needs and adult supervision.
- Permission process for any anonymous exit feedback; no student contact details required.
- Whether a professional guest is available and which topics they can speak to.
- Advance review of sources and slides; the organizer may request factual corrections.
